Sex in the Morning [NSFW]

Morning sex seems to go against the rules and regulations. It isn’t cloaked in the appropriate modest cover of nighttime darkness, and it doesn’t have the lazy languidness of sex on a golden weekend afternoon. Morning sex requires balancing the sex with practicality and punctuality. A timed game of strategic touch and rustling cotton.

Morning sex with a partner who is not a morning person isn’t exactly satisfying. The morning person must do all the work of maneuvering the non-morning person’s body which is still heavy and lazy with sleep. Morning sex with a non-morning person is one-sided and uneven.

Still, there’s a sweet beauty to bridging the gap between bodies, between sleep and awake, at the beginning of the day. There’s an odd beauty in the transitions of dawn and consciousness.
